 St.
Lawrence, Martyr Parish has a rich heritage of faith. We
date back to the earliest days of the introduction of our
Catholic faith into the Southcoast area of Massachusetts.
Our founders were immigrants who brought with them a rich
tradition, which had the Catholic faith as its foundation.
Today we hope to continue that role of being your foundation
of faith in a new community. We hope to be the hands of
Christ outstretched to all our brother and sisters.
St. Lawrence continues to reach out to the community by
being a stewardship parish. We seriously try to be the good
stewards of God’s creation by sharing our gifts of Time,
Talent and Treasure with our parish and the wider community.
We offer our time in prayer as we intercede for our needs
and the needs of others. We present our talents to help make
our parish grow in spirit and in truth. We put forward our
gifts of treasure to help the disadvantaged and to promote
the many endeavors of our parish.
Our Parish Mission
Enlivened by the Holy Spirit and with appreciation for God’s
gifts of time, talent and treasure, we the people of St.
Lawrence, Martyr Parish, dedicate ourselves to bringing the
gospel message of Jesus Christ to the world through worship,
education, and service. We give witness to our faith by
reaching out to those in need.
